Twitch Livestream from Jersey Jack Pinball July 23!

jjpWe’re taking the “Bro, do you even pinball?” show on the road and will be livestreaming Jersey Jack Pinball’s “The Hobbit” live from the Jersey Jack factory at 1 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, July 23!

Jersey Jack himself, Jack Guarnieri will join us as a special guest for the show.

Nick Lane, Dave Bentivegna top 2015-16 Buffalo Pinball League

After nine months and 53 games of competitive pinball, we finally have our top finishers for the 2015–16 Buffalo Pinball League:

A Division

  3. Bruce Nightingale
  4. Kevin Manne


B Division

  1. Dave Bentivegna
  2. Martha “Pushy Galore” Donovan
  3. Greg Sisti
  4. Doug Heerdt

This is the league’s third successful sold out season. Twenty six players competed in the league from September 2015 – April 2016, with playoffs in May. The league meets in a mix of some of the best private collections in Buffalo, NY, as well as on location at Pocketeer Billiards.

Signups will be in June for current league members in good standing who wish to participate in the 2016–17 season, and new players will have the chance to register for any open slots on a first-come, first-served basis in July. Sign up for our newsletter to be updated when signups will go live.

Bruce Nightingale wins 2016 Buffalo Pinball Open

Bruce Nightingale went back-to-back and successfully defended his title, taking first place for the second consecutive year at the Buffalo Pinball Open on April 30, 2016 in Buffalo, NY. Rounding out the top four were Ryan Zlomek, second; Nick Lane, third; and Dave Urbanek, fourth.

A sold-out field of 26 players played through 5 hours of group match-play qualifying on 11 excellent games courtesy of our hosts, Martha Donovan and Nick Lane.

The playoffs, including semi-finals with Jordan Nittoli and Martha Donovan, were live streamed to our Twitch channel. You can see the archive of the playoff battle, complete with commentary, via the below archive on our YouTube channel.

The full final standings are below and will be posted to the IFPA for World Pinball Player Ranking points soon. Thanks to all who came out and helped make it a great event!

Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies on “Bro, do you even pinball?”

edrobertsonOn a special date and time – Monday, Feb. 22 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern – special guest Ed Robertson of the Barenaked Ladies will head to Buffalo to battle the Bro Crew! We’re gonna find out if he even pinballs.

Buffalo Pinball at RetroGameCon

rgcBuffalo Pinball is headed to RetroGameCon in Syracuse, NY on Saturday, Nov. 14! We’ll be hanging out, giving pinball tutorials and streaming live to our Twitch channel throughout the day. Watch for a live “Bro, do you even pinball?” battle versus Shane Luis of Rerez and more.

There will be a number of additional games and a single-game IFPA tournament going on as well, which you can read about here. If you’re in the area, stop by and say hi!

Livestreaming pinball on Twitch.tv

Buffalo Pinball has jumped into the livestreaming game with a channel on Twitch. We broadcast our first test stream yesterday with some action on Stern’s Sopranos. In on the stream were Nick Lane, Kevin Manne, Bret Wallace and Jay Fairbrother. Watch for some gameplay tips and a glorious tilt out during stacked multiball.
