The Buffalo Pinball League is now open for signups!

League nights are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September to April, with playoffs in May. Start time for league nights is 6 p.m. with an hour of practice beginning at 5 p.m.

It’s an official IFPA league that occurs in private homes. Signups are first-come, first-served, and no refunds will be given.

League Signups Begin Aug. 1

Signups for the 2025-26 Buffalo Pinball League will begin on Friday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. Eastern.

League nights are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September to April, with playoffs in May. Start time for league nights is 6 p.m. with an hour of practice beginning at 5 p.m.

It’s an official IFPA league that occurs in private homes. Signups are first-come, first-served, and no refunds will be given.

The Buffalo Pinball League is now open for signups! Just eight spots are available for open registration after league members in good standing secured their spots for the upcoming season.

League nights are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September to April, with playoffs in May. Start time for league nights is 6 p.m. with an hour of practice beginning at 5 p.m. (Note: At the September league night, we will take a vote on whether to change the date of the October league night due to a conflict with Pinball Expo that month.)

We’re excited to announce that the Buffalo Pinball League is now open for signups.

League nights are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September to April, with playoffs in May. Start time for league nights is 6 p.m. with an hour of practice beginning at 5 p.m.

It’s an official IFPA league that occurs in private homes. Signups are first-come, first-served, and no refunds will be given.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2023-24 season is now closed. Sign up for the Buffalo Pinball Mailing List to be notified about registration for future seasons.

Changes to highlight this year:

We’ll be doing a matchplay format this year, much like we did when league first began. We’ll still be playing 6 games each night, but players will be able to choose which six among the hosts’ entire selection.

There will be a $40 bounty that’s up for grabs each league night. The player with the highest number of points that league night (regardless of overall league standings) will win the bounty. If there’s a tie, there will be a playoff that night, so be sure to stick around if you had a good night.

IMPORTANT: Under approval of the IFPA, we are requiring players to show proof that they are fully vaccinated from COVID-19. This is to not only protect fellow league members, but to also protect the families of the hosts who have generously offered to open up their homes to this league. When signing up, please send proof of vaccination to: buffalopinball@gmail.com. Acceptable proofs of vaccination include a photo/scan of your COVID-19 vaccination card or a screenshot of your Excelsior Pass. Your spot will not be secured until payment is made and proof of vaccination has been sent.

Buffalo Pinball leagues and tournaments suspended due to COVID-19

Friends of Buffalo Pinball,

In light of the rapidly-evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we are suspending all Buffalo Pinball leagues and tournaments until further notice. The health and safety of our community is priority No. 1, so we’re taking every precaution to minimize risk to you and those around you.

We realize that pinball is a great way to take your mind off the stress of the day, and understand that it is disappointing to not be able to get together, relax and play this game we all love.

In the meantime, we’ll still be streaming on Twitch, so if you want to hang out virtually we’ll see you in chat. No social distancing required!

Join the 2019-20 Buffalo Pinball League

UPDATE: League is FULL! See everyone in September!

~~Signups are now open~~ for the 2019-20 Buffalo Pinball League—our longest-running competitive pinball event!

The league meets in collector’s homes once a month (on the third Saturday with minor exceptions), from Sept. through April. Playoffs will be held in May. League nights begin with practice at 5 p.m. and league play beginning promptly at 6 p.m.

Open spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until all 26 spots are filled. Anyone who registers beyond that limit will be issued a refund, put on a waitlist in case someone else drops out, and will be added in the order received.

To register: send $30 via PayPal or Venmo to: jayfair416@gmail.com. Please use the “Friends and Family” option when sending your registration payment.

New pinball league at Misuta Chow’s!

We’re stoked to kick off a brand new, casual pinball league at one of the hottest spots in Buffalo, Misuta Chow’s! Here’s the info:

Where: Misuta Chow’s, 521 Main St., Buffalo

When: 6-10 p.m. on Sept 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11 (show up at any time to play the three games for the month)

How it works: Intended to be a casual league, just show up any time between 6-10 p.m. to play the three games selected for that month.

Each player will have two attempts per machine with their highest score counting towards that month’s standings. Scores will be ranked using linear scoring (100, 99, 98, 97, 96…and so on)

Overall standings will be tabulated after each meetup and used to determine final playoff seedings (best three months out of four).

Cost is $5 to enter each month (+ coindrop) and the top three players of each month will be paid out accordingly (percentage of overall entry fees):

3-7 players: 50/40/10
8-12 players: 40/30/20/10
13-16 players: 30/25/15/15/10 + 5 paid to a random winner
17+ players 25/22/18/15/10/5 + 5 paid to a random winner

Note: $5 each month + $1 collected only ONCE per season for IFPA submission

To encourage new players to come out and give pinball a try, there will be a random award (Miusta Chow’s ‘swag’/bar tab) given away.
